4. Re: Travel from Hong Kong airport to Guangzhou
If you intend to proceed to Guangzhou upon your arrival in HK, you can get a coach ride at the Airport. Just proceed to the counters after you clear immigration and collected your bags. and check with them. The trip takes about 1.5 hrs. Sorry, couldn't recall the cost.
The downside is that you have to leave the bus, carry all your luggages at the Chinese Immigration for clearance, then hop onto the bus again after that.
Same goes for entering China through Lowu. You take a MRT to Lowu, clear the HK immigration, walk across the bridge, clear the Chinese immigration, then walk through the shopping centre to the bus-station below for your trip to Guangzhou.
If you've more than 2 luggage, it's better to take the express train that I mentioned earlier in my earlier post. Just take the MRT at the airport and proceed to Hung Hom train station and transit there. Less hassle this way.
Note: If you intend to proceed to Guangzhou on a weekend, it's not advisable to take the Lowu route or coach ride from HK Airport as it's very crowded both at the Immigration and bus-stations.
